Cuteness

A few weeks ago we got a new camera...so mister Scott has become our resident photographer, and our niece Aniston was MORE then happy to oblige him and be his model for the photographs. Here are just a few of my favorites...

I love this one! The funny thing is Jena and I used to do this to our brothers and say they had hair! Poor Boys!

Turned 16 this last week. AHHHH!!! GET OFF THE ROADS!

Seriously though, it is crazy to think he is sooo old! I remember when he was born! One of my favorite stories is the night that my parents went to the hospital, they asked my Grandma Dorothy to come and sleep at our house and get us off to school that morning. So, Jena and I went running downstairs when we woke up to see if my mom was still in labor and not at the hospital, and my grandma sat up in bed with her curly hair everywhere...we screamed and ran upstairs because she scared us! Funny

Any who, we gathered together on Wednesday to celebrate Mr. Christian, Christina, Schmerlina, Caberina's Birthday party. Side Note: Nicknames in our family are a must. The worse the nickname, the better, so we all just play along with my crazy mom and dad's nicknames, and some of that wore off on us :) )

We had a GREAT night complete with Mac and Cheese (CRB's Favorite meal) and Chocolate cupcakes...anyone else's favorite meal :) It was a great night! Happy Birthday Mr. Christian!

My Dream Job

I am so excited to have a new job. Really, I couldn't be happier. I loved the month of staying at home, but I love working too :)
AND it helps to REALLY love my job! I loved eveything about the details of the job description from the moment my friends hubby suggested it to me... and I've been hooked ever since.

Here is a photo of the Day of Awesomeness. AKA Chuck Norris's B-Day. We had a great pot luck lunch and then got everyone in a pic. Here is the events team, and even though I have only worked there for three weeks...I love them already!

Ode to Sunday Afternoon

I love Sunday afternoon's we are calm, and our house is quiet. AAAAANNNNNNDD, after church you can wear a hoodie.

Miss Anja Coombs

Our niece Anja just turned three. We celebrated this wonderful little girls birthday tonight, and I am so grateful she is in our lives! It seems like only yesterday that this darling was born! We love her lots, and she puts a little sparkle in our eyes!

Jensen: Can we take these pink shirts off now? (he says this with a disgusted look on his face) Me: "Well I am sure you can, the party is over...."Jensen: "Oh good, it's not that I don't like it, I am just too hot in two shirts."(I had to chuckle) I guess he asked his mom if she was going to put pictures of him in the pink shirt on the blog, he was quite worried about it

Another conversation with Jensen (he's a funny boy)
Jensen: "Why are you guys still here?" (saying this to Scott and I) Me: "Well, didn't you hear the news? Scott and I are having a sleep over, and we're sleeping in your bed, so you have to sleep on the floor." Jensen: (with the same disgusted look on his face) "Aunt Shelbi tell me the truth!"

PLUS....No one will believe this....! I made Anja a quilt for her birthday. I think it turned out darling. Who knew I could do it?? I sure didn't
