Birthday's

No birthday is complete without mint brownies
A fantastic High School band concert, and your family....
Okay, so maybe it would have been better to have my sweetheart with me too...funny how I wished for a cute boy when blowing my candles out at 16, and then wished for a cute Scotty when I turned 27...

Niagra Falls

So last weekend it was Buffalo, New York that we traveled too. Not as clean as Manchester was, but still beautiful. I had quite the moment in one of my Thursday classes when I asked the scrapbookers who had traveled the farthest, and one said "I'm from Canada" and I promptly said "WOW! I think you win" and a few of the ladies started to snicker. Thankfully this wonderful scrapbook sister said "Ummm....probably not, I just drove an hour to get here."
Maybe I should take geography again....????
Here are some photo's of our grand adventure on Sunday to Niagra falls.

Todd, Jennie and I. Stacy was behind the camera. The wind and mist was wicked right here.
This was absolutely breathtaking...It is not something that you can describe...
Do you see the people on the lower right hand side of the photo walking up the board walks...I was glad we were in a boat....
Check out the boat in the mist.
A few of us were conversing on the way to the falls...the other smarter people were sleeping. :) Todd says to Stacy (the only person who had seen the falls before) "I'm having a really hard time picturing this....is it just like a big hole?" (keep in mind we are driving through VERY FLAT country. As Todd brought this up I perked up and said... "Ya, there are no mountain anywhere...this isn't just a creek is it?" Again...my filter seemed to be broken.
After the laughter stopped, Stacy assured us that yes, it was just a hole in the ground, but a REALLY big hole. She then assured me that it was more then a water trough.

"We're not in Kansas any more Toto."

Cinqo De Mayo

Happy Cinqo De Mayo yesterday......And What fifth day of May is complete without a party....

Manchester, New Hampshire

One of the MANY benefits of my job is the fact that I get to travel....I love traveling, and so traveling and scrap booking are my idea of a good time. I just got back last week from Manchester New Hampshire. It was AMAZING! I loved how green everything was, and the colors were wonderful too! So, after we worked we got to play a little to...here are some photo's of our adventures!

Dinner at Tinker's Seafood...

I didn't think telephone booths like this existed anymore! I was wrong, and I am glad! Look at how darling!

Myself and Lisa- Lisa is a funny one :)

We had an amazing, but exhausting, convention. So we decided on to head to Boston and take a look at some sights...

This sweet guy was just asking for a photo :)

Old State House in Boston- Something about a tea party and people fighting :)

Love this old building

Something about playing baseball here :)

The Remodel

My house looks pretty pathetic currently. Yes....Take a look at the current state of my home.

I am feeling very brave to put these up on my blog, I know that is what all of you are saying.
While I love remodeling, I could deal without all the mess....but unfortunately that would be like butter without bread....

The saw is our new coffee table.....
